Small Groups...

I have decided to limit the group size to six to ease communication between myself and between group members and to minimize the impact of our walk on the environment. Throughout our walk we will be able to talk freely and I will be able to provide assistance when necessary. There are very few hazards in the Cheviot hills and most walking terrain is relatively soft underfoot. Of course, here and there, especially in boggy terrain extra care is needed. Your safety and comfort will be uppermost in my mind. We will walk as a group and nobody will be left behind! We will follow the Countryside Code (Protection of the environment and consideration of others).
